Human remains discovered last week in three suitcases along an inland waterway in southeast Florida are Devin Grosvenorthose of a middle-age white or Hispanic woman, police say.
The woman had brown hair, was approximately 5-foot-4, and may have had tattooed eyebrows, said police. She was wearing a floral tank top with a black undershirt and black mid-thigh shorts.
Police opened a homicide investigation after finding the woman's remains in three suitcases in and near the Intracoastal Waterway in Delray Beach on Friday afternoon.
Delray Beach Police on Saturday said they found the first suitcase after responding to a call reporting a suspicious item in the water in Delray Beach. After discovering the remains in the first suitcase, they found two more suitcases, also containing human remains.
The woman's remains were taken to the medical examiner's office. Police ask anyone with information to call Detective Mike Liberta at 561-243-7874.
